Itinerary

Your adventure begins in Delhi, where upon arrival you are greeted at the airport and escorted to your luxury hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. You may choose to relax after your flight, enjoy a spa treatment, or step out with your chauffeur for an evening drive through the colonial avenues of New Delhi. Dinner is served with a choice of Indian and international cuisine. Overnight in Delhi, surrounded by the charm of a city that has witnessed centuries of history.

The day starts with a guided exploration of Delhi’s treasures. You will first visit Humayun’s Tomb, a grand Mughal mausoleum that set the design precedent for the Taj Mahal. Continue to Qutub Minar, the 12th-century victory tower rising 73 meters. Later, drive through New Delhi’s wide boulevards to see India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace), and Parliament House. Afternoon is reserved for Old Delhi, where you will board a cycle rickshaw through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, passing spice shops, jewelry markets, and old havelis. Visit the imposing Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque. Evening return to your hotel for a relaxed dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Agra (approx. 4 hrs). On arrival, check in at a luxury heritage-style hotel. In the afternoon, visit Agra Fort, an enormous complex of palaces and courtyards where the Mughal emperors once ruled. From its balconies, you get glimpses of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River. As evening approaches, a private guided tour of the Taj Mahal awaits. Watching the sun set behind this marble masterpiece is one of the most romantic and awe-inspiring experiences in India. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Wake early for a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, when the monument glows with a pinkish hue in the morning light. After breakfast, begin the drive towards Ranthambore (approx. 6 hrs). En route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned capital of Emperor Akbar, where red sandstone palaces stand frozen in time. Continue to Ranthambore and check into your luxury jungle lodge, located on the edge of the forest. As evening falls, sit by the bonfire with naturalists who share stories of Ranthambore’s tigers and history. The sounds of the jungle — distant roars, chirping crickets, and the call of owls — create a thrilling backdrop to your first night in the wild.

The day begins early as you set out in an open jeep with an expert naturalist. Ranthambore National Park is famous for its population of tigers, but it is also home to leopards, hyenas, marsh crocodiles, sloth bears, and countless bird species. The landscape is dramatic, with ancient banyan trees, lakes where crocodiles bask, and the ruined Ranthambore Fort rising above. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Spend the afternoon at leisure — swim in the pool or relax with a spa treatment. In the late afternoon, embark on another safari drive, increasing your chances of spotting tigers. Evening dinner served in the lodge gardens, under lantern light. Overnight stay at Ranthambore.

Another day dedicated to exploring Ranthambore. Morning safari takes you into a different zone of the park, with varied landscapes — rocky cliffs, lakes, and grasslands. Watch for sambar deer, langurs, and colorful kingfishers. After lunch at your lodge, take an afternoon safari or join a nature walk with the resident naturalist, focusing on birdlife and small mammals. Evening cultural program with local folk musicians by the bonfire. Overnight in Ranthambore.

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur (approx. 4 hrs). Check in at a heritage palace hotel, where traditional architecture meets modern comfort. In the evening, take a short orientation tour of Jaipur’s old city — walk through colorful bazaars, try local sweets, and soak in the festive atmosphere. Overnight in Jaipur.

Begin with Amber Fort, a hilltop fortress where Rajput pride and artistry come alive in mirrored halls and marble courtyards. Continue to City Palace, part museum and part residence of Jaipur’s royal family, followed by Jantar Mantar Observatory, where 18th-century instruments still track celestial movements. Stop at Hawa Mahal for photographs. Afternoon free for shopping — Jaipur is world-famous for gemstones, blue pottery, and block-printed fabrics. Evening cultural folk dance performance arranged at your hotel courtyard. Overnight in Jaipur.

Spend the morning on a guided heritage walk through Jaipur’s old quarters. Visit temples, spice markets, and workshops of artisans who have practiced traditional crafts for generations. Taste street food snacks like kachori and masala chai. Afternoon at leisure in your hotel, with an option for a spa session. Evening royal-style dinner in the palace gardens with live classical music. Overnight in Jaipur.

Drive to Jodhpur (approx. 6 hrs). On arrival, check in at a luxury heritage hotel. Spend the evening exploring the local bazaars around the Clock Tower, where spices, handicrafts, and textiles fill the streets. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Morning guided visit to Mehrangarh Fort, one of the most impressive forts in India, offering sweeping views of the blue-painted city below. Explore palaces and museums within the fort. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph built for the Maharaja. In the afternoon, take a safari to nearby Bishnoi villages, where you’ll witness traditional crafts, opium ceremonies, and rural lifestyles. Evening free at your heritage hotel. Overnight in Jodhpur.

After breakfast, drive to Jawai (approx. 4–5 hrs), a region of rugged granite hills, scrub forests, and reservoirs. Check in at your luxury safari lodge. Evening nature drive introduces you to Jawai’s landscapes — rocky outcrops where leopards roam, and flocks of flamingos gathering around lakes. Dinner is served al fresco under the stars. Overnight in Jawai.

Rise early for your first leopard safari in Jawai. Expert trackers lead you through rocky hills where leopards live in close harmony with local shepherds. The sight of a leopard perched on a boulder against the rising sun is unforgettable. Return to the lodge for breakfast and leisure. Afternoon free to relax by the pool or join a cultural visit to Rabari shepherd communities. Evening second leopard safari increases your chance of close encounters. Overnight stay in Jawai.

Drive to Udaipur (approx. 4 hrs). Check in at a luxury lakeside hotel, with sweeping views of Lake Pichola. In the evening, enjoy a private boat ride on the lake, watching the City Palace and Jag Mandir glowing in twilight. Dinner with lakeside views completes your day. Overnight in Udaipur.

Your final day is spent exploring Udaipur’s highlights. Visit the City Palace, an enormous complex overlooking the lake, followed by Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens). Walk through Udaipur’s markets for miniature paintings and silver jewelry. Afternoon leisure at your hotel. Evening transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
